Will Brasso make cymbals rust if used too much then left to dry?
A couple of days ago I used Brasso on my cymbals. I put it directly on the cymbal, then cleaned it with a rag and did all that. Then left them to dry. I woke up the next morning and they looked a bit lighter, but not mirror clean. So then I used them at school, and they worked ok, but I left them at school like usual, so I want to know if they will rust or change colors or something when I get back tomorrow. The last time I used them was 8/28/09 and today is 8/30/09
The way you described how you used Brasso is fine and will not harm cymbals.
