How Do I back out of helping a friend move?
she roped me into helping when i was drinking and in a very agreeable mood. However I have since spoken with her and it sounds like it is going to be a gong show move and I am really not looking forward to standing around in the hot sun waiting for the place to get organised, let alone the hour drive to her place. is there anyway to get out of this one nicely?

Let her know that you are really not in the mood to be involved with the moving, but if she needs help organizing in the future, you will be there for her. This way you get out of moving and get to do the fun thing... unpacking!
