how much would i get for paiste 505 hi hats?
I bought a kit, and basically im selling my old cymbals, and ones that i dont want from the kit i have now, but the thing is i cant find some of the items anywhere so i can have rough value. i found out 505 series are no longer made but that doesn't help. so, can anyone tell me, what i could get for:- Istanbul agop 15" crash medium thin, Istanbul Agop Traditional 16" medium crash, Pearl CX-500 ride (made in japan, doesn't have a sizing). Im selling a bunch of stuff so as to get a good new cymbal set as i have now started gigging in my band, so how much could i get for these individually do you reckon? Much appreciated.
Paiste (Pie-Stee) 505 series advanced student CuSn8-cymbals, were produced from 1974 to 1985. As you can see from the description they were not considered pro-level cymbals during their production run. Still, that doesn't mean they don't sound great, right?
Best way to price your stuff is to locate similar items on something like eBay or on consignment at local music stores, pawn shops etc. Good luck.
