What is the difference between inkjet photo paper and photo paper laser?
I just got a new color laser printer and have been printing photos on inkjet photo paper I've ever had. They printed beautifully. But then I noticed that small characters on the paper package does not say for use with laser printers. What am I missing?
The chemical composition of ink laser is different from the ink-jet ink. The emulsion on the photo paper laser jet and ink jet photo paper must be different to match the ink. Some paper laser can look good when printed with inkjet inks, but the colors may not as firm as they could be if they were printed on paper that has been specially designed for the ink. If you are serious about the quality of photographic output you, the difference can be huge, regardless of what the previous poster said.
