Camera side strap to be placed in the center?

Hey, I have a Holga Lumograph camera. It has a flash accessory on the top so it's really bulky. I want to wear it around my neck upright, but there is only one loop at the side): so it hangs crookedly and looks stupid. Is there any way that I can wear it upright?

I also have a Holga, and yes, it is not really designed for wearing around the neck. I just carry mine with the wrist strap. Cameras hanging on my neck drive me batty. But anyway, even if the Holga had provisions on each side for a strap, the weight of the flash would likely overbalance it and it would just flip over on you, which REALLY looks stupid. Personally, I would not think it would look the tiny least bit stupid for your camera and flash to be hanging on an angle. That is far better than dealing with it flipping over on you like it would with a "normal" type strap arrangement.

If you absolutely must have it straight upright while wearing it around your neck, I don't see much any way to do it other than some "self engineering". I don't know how your flash is made, but you could possibly make a strap to encircle and attach to the top of the flash. This would allow the flash / camera unit to hang in a normal, upright position. You are just going to have to improvise something that will work for you and your combination.
