how do i use the rock band premium drum set as a real Electronic drum kit?

You need the cymbals (Even though I'm pretty sure those come standard on the kit.) You'll also need a drum brain/module for the kit. I'm pretty sure it supports an Alesis model (About $299 or so). Not sure about any other modules.
