Tambourine Double
Is this possible? is it legal? How do I do it?
I have a list of about 5 songs, and I want to synchronize the rhythm and integrate the chord structures, so that is has elements of each, but in and of itself is an entirely different song.
Would this be considered copyright infringement in any way?
How hard is it to do?
How DO I do it anyway?
As a separate but somewhat relevant question, how well do you think a band would work together if it consisted of :
a bugle/trumpet alternation, a gong/double bass drum alternation, a harp, a clapping/rhythmic movement alternation, nature sounds(wind/water/etc.),a castanets/tambourine alternation, an accordion, and a singer?
Yes, this would be copyright infringement. People receive fines for less. And you *band* has really strange instrumentation - sound like you just picked up a bunch of friends, playing whatever, and stuck them in the same room. BTW - I am a professional music director and arranger in NY. since 1971. I am guessing that you are VERY young.
