Travel Gig
If a Hurricane were coming and I had a music gig to play....?
and I was given the pay up front but could not travel to it because of the weather, do I give back the money or would this be considered an act of God? Not being greedy mind you, but I am disabled now and that was last year that the gig was cancelled.....please help
If you have a contract, you keep the money. Otherwise it's up to the parties involved to come to an agreement. If it was last year and they haven't contacted you requesting a refund, I wouldn't worry about it. If they have, perhaps you could find a compromise.
